About Me
What started out as a hobby has turned into a passion. I started in photography 14 years ago. I started out with film and then the digital age was born. I was hooked! I first began with landscapes, flowers and birds. Friends then started asking me to do photo shoots for them. I loved getting "THE Picture" that represented the subject. I found that I could make them come alive in a picture. My journey had begun and now I have decided to pursue my passion full-time. I am a firm believer in that what come out of the camera should be the picture to print. I will touch up the photo but not to the point where people do not recognize themselves. That I will leave to the "artist" of the world. When you show people your portrait I want them to say "That picture is so you!" You will be involved from start to finish with your portraits. The end result will be exactly what you envisioned. I guarantee that.
I have been married to my "heart and soul" for 11 years. Together we have formed a family with his 2 sons and my daughter and son. I am a Grandmother to 3 beautiful kids. We also have a dog named "Willy" who is the child that we never had together. You will meet Willy and my husband as they are my "assistants" for many shoots. I have been a business owner for over 25 years. I know the definition of hard work and dedication. The most enjoyment that I get out of owning my own business is the customer contact. I am very people orientated and enjoy spending time with them.
I am "mom" to many that have worked for me or have grown up in my store. My passion is the youth and the elderly. The youth are our future and the elderly is our history. I dedicate much of my time, energy and donations to these 2 groups.
I have a great sense of humor and I am very witty. I pride myself on my ethics and principles. I feel that people should always do the right thing. I never judge anyone as I have not walked in their shoes. I would rather give my last dollar to someone in need than keep it for myself. I love children and animals.
I specialize in all aspects of photography. I have done photo shoots where the client needed only 1 photo to weddings. I have photographed babies to dogs. I am always working on my portfolio and my skills.
